Achari Paneer Masala

INGREDIENTS  

  • Paneer (Indian cottage cheese), cut into cubes
  • POONJIAJI'S Achari Marinade Paste
  • Onion, finely chopped
  • Tomatoes, pureed
  • Ginger-garlic paste
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red chili powder
  • Cumin powder
  • Garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil or ghee for cooking
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

METHOD

  1. Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.
  4. Stir in POONJIAJI’S Ready to cook Achari Marinade Paste and cook for a couple of minutes.
  5. Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
  6. Mix in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Stir well to combine.
  7. Add the paneer cubes to the masala and gently mix until the paneer is coated with the flavors.
  8. Cover the pan and let it simmer for a few minutes, allowing the paneer to absorb the flavors.
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  10. Serve the Achari Paneer Masala hot with roti, naan, or rice.
