Mixed Sprouts Chaat
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cups boiled mixed sprouts (mung beans , sukha vatana , kala chana , chawli , kabuli chana , matki)
- Poonjiaji’s Meethi Chutney
- Poonjiaji’s Teekhi Chutney
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup pomegranate (anar)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander (dhania)
- salt to taste
METHOD
- For boiling the mixed sprouts, heat water in a saucepan.
- When the water starts bubbling, add the mixed sprouts.
- Cover with a lid and cook on a medium flame for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Drain the boiled mixed sprouts and keep aside. Mixed sprouts are a rich source of protein, fibre and vitamin C.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE
- For making the healthy mixed sprouts chaat, in a deep bowl take the boiled mixed sprouts.
- Add Poonjiaji’s Meethi Chutney and Poonjiaji’s Teekhi Chutney. Also, you can optionally add Poonjiaji’s Garlic Chutney to make the sprouts chaat spicy.
- Add the chaat masala, lemon juice and pomegranate for a tangy flavor. They provide a pleasant sweetness and crunch to the mixed sprouts chaat.
- Add finely chopped coriander and salt to taste. Mix well and our mixed sprouts chaat is ready!
